Now we're talking...

The Aluminum Siding is in!
We built the wood sub-structure first,
painted it
with exterior primer,
& fastened it
to the head, sill & jamb
with 3" screws
The siders fit the aluminum parts
to the sub-structure.
They 'dry-fitted' it first
before fastening it with
wafer head screws
& vertical beads of
construction adhesive.

After the corners, window trim & base
were fastened & flashed ,
the siding was cleated on
starting from the bottom.
The "T" will be 5/4 hardi-trim
painted to match
the window frames.
